Classroom Sneak Peek!!!!

Hey guys...hope you are having a great week! I just wanted to give y'all a quick update! I have been busy this past week moving into my new apartment and decorating my classroom! I moved into my apartment last Tuesday and my classroom on Wednesday. It has been a crazy week! My classroom is slowly coming along. I have been having so much fun decorating my room and designing my bulletin boards!

Las Vegas - Day 3 Part One - The Bellagio!

Today we had our first team meeting! We met over at my team leader's house for lunch and to go over tons of back to school stuff ....I'm trying to just BREATHE! : ) I love my team leader. She is SO organized!

I promise to get all of my Vegas pictures posted soon! We toured the Bellagio on our third day in Vegas...I thought it was decorated so pretty inside! Here are some pictures!

Moving and Back to School!!!

Hope y'all had a great weekend! I have had a pretty busy week between attending professional development meetings, shopping for my classroom, and getting ready to move. Last Tuesday, I met up with my 1st grade team for lunch and to go to Lakeshore Learning! We had a fun time! After our shopping trip, I was able to see my room for the first time! I'm so excited that I can finally start moving into my classroom this coming Wednesday. : )

All of my classroom stuff! I'm sure my parents are excited for me to move so their living room will look normal again! Haha! 

This weekend I have been busy going to garage sales and crafting! I'm usually not that crafty of a person so I'm pretty proud of myself! : )

I bought these frames at the dollar store and the animal print paper at Michael's. It cost less than $10 to make! Thank you Kristan for the idea! : ) My friend Kristan is going to be teaching 3rd grade this year and is also doing a jungle theme in her classroom!

I bought these little caddies at Target for $2.50 each! I glued leopard ribbon around the top of each caddie to tie into my jungle theme!

LAS VEGAS DAY TWO!!!

We spent our second day in Vegas doing tons of walking and touring! The casinos look so close to one another but the distance is actually very deceiving! I'm thinking the walking wouldn't of been so bad if it wasn't so hot! I don't do well in the heat! Ha! I've decided that I like the dry heat better than the humidity though! :) I LOVED the Venetian and Caesars Palace! They were both beautiful inside! Here are some pictures!

LAS VEGAS DAY ONE!!!

I've been MIA this past week because I have been in fabulous LAS VEGAS! Kyle's family invited me to go on vacation with them. :) We left last Monday and came back this past Saturday. We had so much fun! This was my second time to go to Vegas. I went for the first time for my 21st birthday about four years ago. The night we got there, we went to see the Cirque du Soleil show, The Beatles LOVE. It was amazing! While we were at The Mirage, we also watched the volcano show. It was really cool! I'm going to break our trip up into serveral different posts throughtout the next few days! :)

It was sure does get HOT in Vegas! I'm trying to decide if I like the dry heat better or the humidity? I'll write more later about our trip! I'm going to be busy these next few weeks getting ready for the first day of school! : )
